In the lake at Gumleaves
Please click on the photos for bigger picture.
Gumleaves is an old-fashioned, unassuming adventure playground.
Set away from the main road it is quiet and the campsites are roomy, set in woodland by a small lake. There are good facilities with a camp kitchen, amenities and open fire pits with plenty of firewood.
The grounds are packed with ageing adventure equipment such as flying foxes, rope climbs, cargo nets and a full obstacle course.
For young kids there is a playground and there is also row boats for use on the lake.
Possums are plentiful and there is a friendly duck that visits for food.
On the grounds there is also a deer pen and a small museum.
We stayed two nights and had a ball!
