Chaffey Dam NSW / Bowling Alley Point

Chaffey Dam or as wiki camps call it Bowling Alley Point, is about 40 mins out of Tamworth NSW.

There are acres of camping space so you're not all on top of one another. There are lovely clean amenities and $1 donation for a hot shower.

It's only $5 a night per vehicle. There are camping tables spotted around, you can have camp fires, drinking water is available as well as lake water for washing etc, more than enough rubbish bins and even a dump point!

The views are beautiful and nice and peaceful - you can also take the dog as long as it's under control.

Totally recommend this one.

From 14 May 2018 the cost is $5 per person per day with a limit of 7 days.
This information is on the signs at the entrance to the area.
