We publish your answers in your own words, alongside your photos. Here is what to have ready before you start:

About 20 minutes — the form cannot be saved partway, so write your longer answers somewhere else and paste them in
Ten questions — why you left, how you prepared, your best and worst bits, schooling on the road, and your advice for families still planning
One landscape photo of the family — this becomes the image at the top of your story
Up to five travel photos — landscape works best, JPG or PNG, 10MB max each
Your Instagram handle — optional, so we can tag you when your story goes live
