When a TAWKing Family who stayed at Coolac Cabins and Camping said: “It’s a cracking spot – one of the best we’ve had for the price on our lap. $25 a night for power and water – no charge for kids at all!” we knew we needed to let our TAWK Members know about this wonderful piece of paradise.
Located just 1.5 hours from Canberra, 1 hour from Wagga Wagga and 3.5 hours from Sydney, their 90 acre property is in close proximity to the towns of Tumut, Gundagai and Cootamundra. You can take the kids to visit the famous Dog on a Tuckerbox in Gundagai, or enjoy some cricket history with Bradman’s birthplace museum and the Captain’s Walk in Cootamundra.
The property has a permanent creek running through it – great for a walk and wildlife spotting with the kids – and at night, sit by a campfire under the stars roasting marshmallows.
